I recently sat down with Tinx for our upcoming podcast episode where we discuss her not feeling like she is in her feminine at the moment. Then, I was scrolling on Instagram the other day when I was served up this reel. Obviously Instagram is listening to our conversations, but that’s besides the point.

What does it mean to not be in our feminine? A quick Google search tells me it means “moving away from or neglecting qualities often associated with femininity, like nurturing, sensitivity, and emotional expression, and potentially leaning more towards masculine traits.” So if we are moving away from our feminine, it means we may be leaning on logic rather than emotion. It means we are action oriented and assertive.

A few questions immediately come up here:

Why is bad to display masculine qualities? It’s not! Masculine qualities are just as important as feminine qualities and the two should exist together. You should have the balance of both. However, when it comes to your dating life as a woman, it’s not the time to exercise your masculine.
